After six months of friendly consultations and negotiations, Euro-Conti Tech Park has successfully acquired the former Hungarian power tool factory site in the city of Cegléd, which was previously operated by the American company Magnetek.
The site covers 50,000 square meters, including 4,000 square meters of office and living service facilities, and more than 10,000 square meters of production workshops and warehouses. Supporting infrastructure includes two 20kV transformers, natural gas, municipal water supply, a 600-meter-deep well, a complete fire safety system, and a wastewater treatment and discharge system.

Following the acquisition, Euro-Conti Tech Park is actively initiating modernization upgrades of the site to transform it into a modern industrial park, tailored to meet the needs of Chinese industries investing in Europe, operating locally, and quickly entering the EU’s high-end markets.
This site will become the production and operational base of the Euro-Conti Tech Park, helping to alleviate the spatial and systemic challenges faced by the Inárcs Tech Park in areas such as planning, design, tendering, construction, tech cooperation, and alignment with Chinese partners. The acquisition plays a vital role in turning cooperative intentions into real, market-driven results.
Looking ahead, Euro-Conti Tech Park will continue strengthening its technological infrastructure, expanding industrial and technological cooperation, and contributing to China-Hungary collaboration in technology and industry.
