A Snowy Day, A Warm Dialogue on Science Collaboration and Overseas Expertise
On January 19, 2024, with snow gently falling, a five-member delegation from the Shandong Association for Science and Technology (SAST), led by Party Secretary Zou Guangde and Qingdao SAST Chairman Wang Chongjiang, visited Euro-Conti Tech Park. They were warmly received by Chairman Zhang Zhigang and the park’s technology collaboration team. The two sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation in science communication, technological innovation, and the “Haizhi” program for overseas talent.
During the visit, Secretary Zou Guangde officially appointed Chairman Zhang Zhigang and Hungarian expert Mr. Ying Shan as “Haizhi Experts” on behalf of the Shandong Association for Science and Technology, presenting them with expert certificates.
Whether it was ancient scholars sipping tea by a fire or today’s relaxed exchange over Hungarian cuisine and wine, everything feels particularly harmonious on a snowy day. As the Chinese saying goes, a timely snow promises a fruitful year—perhaps a symbol of the fruitful cooperation ahead.
