Promoting University-Government Cooperation and Building Overseas Innovation Campuses in Hungary
On December 14, 2023, Mr. Yao Qun, Deputy Director-General of the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology, led a delegation to visit the Euro-Conti Tech Park in Hungary. The delegation included President Wei Xianwen of Anhui University of Technology, Vice President Wu Wenge of Anhui Agricultural University, Director Zhong Haibin of the Innovation Base Division of the Anhui Science and Technology Department, and Director Zhang Mingxing of Xuancheng Science and Technology Bureau.
Mr. Norci Florenc, Regional Director of Cegléd Office of the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and Innovation, warmly welcomed the delegation on behalf of Cegléd Municipality. He expressed strong support for cooperation between Chinese universities and Euro-Conti Tech Park, particularly in jointly developing overseas campuses leveraging Hungary’s higher education resources.
Mr. Zhang Zhigang, Chairman of Euro-Conti Tech Park, attended the meeting and held in-depth discussions with the delegation on strengthening the development of Anhui’s innovation base in Hungary and models of overseas university collaboration.
