China’s Ministry of Commerce Delegation Visits Euro-Conti Tech Park

Advancing China-Hungary Investment Cooperation

On November 3, 2023, a delegation from the Investment Promotion Agency of China’s Ministry of Commerce visited the Euro-Conti Tech Park in Hungary. They were welcomed by Dr. Gál Imre László, Mayor of Üllő, and Mr. Zhang Zhigang, General Manager of the Euro-Conti Tech Park Project.

The delegation included Yan Hua, Director of the Free Trade Zone Investment Cooperation Department, Xu Dansong, Chief Representative of the European Office, Qu Hongkun, and representatives from the Free Trade Zones of Sichuan and Fujian provinces.

Mr. Zhang presented a detailed overview of the tech park’s development, including its infrastructure progress, industrial layout, and future strategy. The delegation provided professional guidance on the park’s functional positioning, overall design, construction and operation, industrial clustering, and China-Hungary cooperation opportunities.

They also explored potential collaborations between the tech park and China’s Free Trade Zones in Sichuan and Fujian, with the goal of enhancing China-Hungary industrial cooperation and investment synergy.

Mayor Gál Imre László welcomed the visit and assured that the local government will actively seek national-level support to facilitate the development of the Euro-Conti Tech Park.
