2. Customs Declaration and Inspection Services

- Assist with customs inspection and prepay any possible inspection fees.
- Provide specialized secure customs declaration services, optimize tax planning, and prepay related fees.
3. Tax Payment and Deposit Handling

- Prepay EU customs import duties, special tariffs, and anti-dumping duties (according to EU customs regulations on specific products).
- Apply for a customs permit to temporarily waive VAT prepayment; if not approved, prepay the VAT on imported goods.
4. Goods Transportation and Warehousing
- Cover transportation costs from the freight yard to the overseas warehouse.
- Arrange transportation, arrival, and unloading efficiently to avoid delays. Coordinate third-party crane services for unloading large equipment.
- Count the goods, create a warehouse entry record, and confirm successful warehousing.
5. Service Process
A. Two weeks before goods arrival: Verify the packing list, weight, volume, commercial invoice, CE certificates or other inspection documents with the consignor.
B. One week before arrival: Check with the consignor on any unpaid multimodal transport and transshipment port fees. Ensure these are paid to allow immediate customs declaration and inspection upon arrival.
C. Based on the goods list, export invoice, and EU customs regulations, provide an estimated import customs duties and tax cost sheet.
6. Customs Clearance, Pickup, Warehousing Fees and Service Fee Settlement
Within one week after goods are picked up and warehoused, settle the taxes and fees prepaid during customs clearance, pickup, and warehousing with the commissioning client. Choose one of the two settlement methods below (or pre-agree with the client before customs clearance):
A. Based on the provided import customs duties and pickup/warehousing fee list + customs and logistics service fee.
Customs clearance and pickup service fees are calculated as follows:
- 20ft or larger containers: €500 base service fee + 3% of goods value upon arrival in Budapest
- Less than 20ft (loose cargo): €250 base fee + 3% of goods value upon arrival in Budapest
OR
B. Pre-agree with the client before customs clearance on an all-inclusive package covering clearance, prepaid tax payments, pickup, transport, unloading, and warehousing, settled based on the simplified method:
- If goods value in Budapest is less than €20,000 → settle at 15%
- If goods value in Budapest is equal to or greater than €20,000 → settle at 12%
