On June 19, the EducationPlus 2025 (Sichuan) International Vocational Education Conference and Industry-Education Integration Expo opened in Chengdu. The event was jointly guided by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany, and the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training of Germany. It was organized by the Shandong Provincial Integrated Service Platform for Industry-Education Integration. In the afternoon, the International Forum on Industry-Education Integration and Project Cooperation Roundtable, also hosted by the platform, was successfully held and achieved positive results.

Chen Youliang, former second-level inspector of the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Director of the Shandong Industry-Education Integration Service Platform, attended and presided over the event. Song Hans, President of Messe Stuttgart Asia Pacific Ltd., also delivered a speech.

More than 100 enterprises and educational institutions participated in the roundtable, bringing together many influential guests from both China and abroad. They engaged in discussions around topics such as intelligent manufacturing, AI technologies, and the internationalization of industry-education integration, sharing the latest research achievements and practical experiences from their respective fields.
Jining Vocational and Technical College shared its approach to building a high-level vocational institution through “school-enterprise collaboration and joint talent cultivation.”
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (Qingdao) presented a “Smart Manufacturing Vocational Education Ecosystem Going Global Strategy,” emphasizing the coordinated export of technical standards and educational systems.
His Embedded Systems (Germany) shared how AI and modeling are being deeply integrated into industrial practice within embedded systems vocational education.
Linyi Vocational College of Science and Technology introduced its industry-driven approach to vocational education, particularly highlighting innovative efforts in flexible packaging disciplines.
Audi Hungaria Faculty of Automotive Engineering, Széchenyi István University (Hungary) shared successful experiences in aligning educational training with industry demands.
China Automotive Engineering Research Institute discussed practices in leveraging industry-education integration to support Chinese automotive companies in going global.
Bosai Digital Technology Group Co., Ltd. showcased new pathways driven by HarmonyOS & NearLink technologies for industry-education collaboration.
Jinan Engineering Vocational and Technical College analyzed internationalization opportunities for vocational education under the RCEP framework.
The Sino-German Vocational Education Industry-Education Integration Alliance shared its insights and experiences in integrating German SMEs with Chinese vocational institutions.
Baden-Württemberg Economic Association Education Group (Germany) focused on the future development of industry-education integration.



During the event, three major projects were officially announced:
- European International Demonstration Zone for Industry-Education Integration
- Central Asian International Demonstration Zone for Industry-Education Integration
- International Chinese Graded Reading Program for Overseas Students
These projects not only showcased the latest achievements in China’s industry-education integration but also established broad platforms for international vocational education cooperation.

At the same time, three key signing ceremonies took place:
- The European Demonstration Zone signed cooperation agreements with Széchenyi István University, Cegléd Regional Vocational Education Center under the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and Innovation, Vikár Sándor Business School, and Cegléd Institute of Information Technology.
- Agreements were signed for Jinan Dingdian CNC Equipment Co., Ltd. and Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (Qingdao) to enter the electromechanical and training centers of the European Demonstration Zone.
- Multiple cooperation projects between enterprises and vocational colleges were signed.
These outcomes mark substantial progress in cross-border resource integration and lay a solid foundation for the deep development of industry-education integration.
